| A storm created a freshet, turning the local road into a creek. The waters poured over onto the opposite side of Spohn Road at Passage Gulf and excavated a section exposing completely, the eurypterid bed. Here, I was able to dig into the waterlime layers and expose eurypterids (center). Note the conchoidal nature of this fine-frained dolostone. CLICK ON PHOTO TO ENLARGE. |
